Today is Earth Day, a global celebration of our planet and a reminder that even the smallest actions can make a big impact. Whether it’s recycling, reducing energy use, planting a tree, cleaning up our conservation and rivers, or simply enjoying nature, today is the perfect day to reflect on how we care for the Earth—not just today, but every day.

Here in Billerica, we’re continuing the celebration with a hands-on way to help our town shine. Billerica's annual Clean Up Green Up Day —a community-wide effort to beautify public spaces, parks, and neighborhoods. Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025

• Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

• Location: Various locations throughout Billerica​

How to Participate:

• Register: Sign up as an individual, group, or organization to select your cleanup location. You can register through the Billerica Clean Up Green Up Facebook page.
  

It’s a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves, gather with friends and neighbors, and show some love to the town we call home. Whether you’re picking up litter, planting flowers, or sprucing up a shared space, your effort helps keep Billerica clean, green, and welcoming for everyone.
