At 8:46 most Americans stopped and paid attention, by 9:03 we knew we were under attack.
We will not forget the 2,977 innocent lives lost
We will not forget all of the first responders who responded that day and the months after, who we have lost years later after complications from exposure to the toxins that blanketed the city and those now living today with cancer and other ailments due to that day.
We will not forget how we all came together as a nation after, how our flags flew high, and how we were all in this together.
And We will not forget how we were proud of our military for risking their lives to protect us and their country by going after those who were responsible for this deadly attack
